Meet the Directors/Owners

Donna Grady

Donna Grady began dancing at the tender age of four. She studied intensely for more than a decade under Julie Renn. Donna’s training includes ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, tumbling, and pointe.

As a high school student, Donna was an invaluable member of the performing dance company and received many awards and accolades. She was chosen to represent our state in Australia and performed with “Dance Down Under”. Donna also received a dance scholarship to Scottsdale Community College where she continued to hone her skills and technique.

Donna and her husband, Marco, are parents to three beautiful little girls who are following in their mama’s dancing footsteps!

Patty Gregersen

Patty Gregersen’s dance experience includes training and experience in ballet, modern, jazz, and tap at the college level, professional performance with the NBA, and instruction and choreography for children, youth, and adults of all ages in ballet, modern, jazz, and lyrical dance. Patty was also a competitive gymnast.

She is the founder and former artistic director of the Mountain Pointe High School Dance Company in Phoenix, Arizona, where she successfully and enjoyably produced over half-a-dozen full length productions. Patty also has musical theater experience, adding to her resume choreography for main stage productions of The Wizard of Oz, Grease, and The Sound of Music.

Top priority to Patty is her role as wife to Paul and mom to Rhyan, Tyler, Simon, and Eli. Family life has been the best dance ever and continues to grow in God’s grace and love daily.

Patty had a vision and dream for many years of directing a dance company whose main purpose is to glorify God. To see this dream realized is a blessing and answered prayer. Most of all, what she has come to see is that Basileia has always been God’s dream and plan. Delight in the Lord and He will give you the desires of His heart. Psalm 37:4 As delight is found in the Lord, he plants His desires in our hearts. Basileia is His creation and Patty is humbled and honored to be His instrument in her role as Artistic Dance Director and Owner.

Angie Lopez – Bookkeeper

Our Bookkeeper serves as our treasurer, tax filer, and money manager extraordinaire. Angie Lopez has served as the BCDC Bookkeeper for 5 years and invests much more than an amazing fiscal mind to our ministry. Her heart is burdened for youth and adults who are taught that the gift of dance is from the Lord – and that it is for His glory that they return the gift. And she is the matriarch of three generations of BCDC members! Watch for her daughter and grandchildren in the next production.

Andrea McClees – Administrative Coordinator

Andrea McClees excels at keeping the brains and operations of BCDC on the straight and narrow. She is an excellent communicator and organizer who is highly skilled in fielding inquiries and requests, receiving and directing visitors and interested parties, internet research abilities, and comparison ‘shopping around’. Andrea is the receiver of all website contact forms and serves as the directors’ official messenger. We are blessed to have three of her five beautiful children as dancers/worship leaders in our Crew and Mini Youth! Can’t wait to add the youngest McClees in a couple short years!
